How to Select Multiple Photos on Your iPad Rapidly?

We all know that adding multiple photos into newly created album is possible in your iPad. But not all of us know how to do it fast. This post is created to guide you on that. First, you tap on "share" button on the upper right corner of your photos app. Then, you touch one of the photos that you want to select with two of our fingers (I would suggest using your index finger and middle finger, as it feels more natural). Hold it for a while, then drag you fingers straight across the photos that you want to select. By performing this gesture, you should be able to select multiple photos at a stretch.

Penang & Langkawi Trip: Day 4

It's my 2nd day at Langkawi, and the whole day was fully scheduled. In the morning, I joined an island hopping tour. The tour last for about 5 hours, and I visited 3 islands: The Maiden Island, Eagle Island, and Beras Basah Island. After that,I also visited the Langkawi Island cable car at Gunung Mak Cincang (I am scared of height, didn't really have the guts to try). Later on, I went to the craft centre where I witnessed a live glass molding performance. Before going back to the hotel, I stopped by "The Loaf" at Perdana Quay to grab some bread for breakfast tomorrow. That's all for today, bye!

Penang & Langkawi Trip: Day 3

Arrived at Langkawi this afternoon. The ferry terminal at Kuala Perlis is unexpectedly messy and dirty, and When I reached the island, it was kind of dissappointing. Many parts of the island are still under developed, and there are a lot of abandoned buildings everywhere. Alright, enough with the negative comments, let's look at the bright side of the island. There are countless duty free shops and complexes around the island, especially near Kuah, the area I stay. Btw, I am currently staying at Bayview hotel, which is a 4 Stars hotel, yet, with insufficient parking bay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including some nice Chinese restaurants. After meal, I visited the sea cucumber products manufacturing centre, which is quite an eye-opening experience (just look at tht huge Gamat oil in front of the centre, lol). Night life at Langkawi is equally exciting. If you want to enjoy an amazing night life, I suggest you get a dorm or motel room along the beach, since all the excitement basically occurs over there. That's all I want to share, gotta go to bed, will be joining island hopping tomorrow morning. See ya!

3. Toy Museum (amazing collection of toys. i'm told that this is the largest toy museum in the world)
4. Kek Lok Si Temple (Visited the largest Guanyin statue in Malaysia)

Penang & Langkawi Trip: Day 1

"My Tech, My Life" is taking a short break for ten days, going for a trip at Penang and Langkawi island, Malaysia. Taking a break doesn't really mean that I stop blogging, but instead, I'll post some photos of my everyday activities. Honestly, I am not really good in writing travelling blog, that's what I think, why let you guys suffer with my sucky writing?? So, I decided to just let photos do the talking.

Places of Interest:
1. St. Anne Church, Bukit Mertajam
2. Goh Huat Seng Teochew cuisine restaurant, Georgetown (Cheap n delicious, highly recommended)
3. Big Flag Competition, also known as Chingay (not really sure whether it's the right translation, lol) at Esplanade, Georgetown, in front of the Penang City Hall. The performers need to use their head and mouth to balance a huge flag.

Accommodation: Ryokan Chic Hostel, Muntri Road, Georgetown (This little hostel is amazing, just look at their iPad2 equipped Chillax Corner and Reception Counter!)

Note: The whole sets of photos were taken using my iPad 2 camera. Not much quality, just a little something that I have with me.

NOWBOX: THE WAY to Personalize Your Youtube Experience

If Flipboard is THE WAY to personalize your news reading, then NOWBOX is definitely THE BEST WAY to personalize your youtube experience. At the initial lunch, NOWBOX lets you select your topic of interest, which you can make multiple selection. After that, it will again offer you the options of connecting your NOWBOX with your facebook, Youtube, and Twitter accounts. By connecting your NOWBOX app to these accounts, it will try to detect potential topics and themes that might interest you. Once you've done both steps, you can officially start watching. It automatically sorts out the topics you selected with video channels related. If you want to search for something else, you can tap on the Channel Management button that resembles an old school TV set. Then, just tap on the magnifying glass search button and start typing keywords or the name of channel. When you get a videos you like, you can always add them into your personal playlist. Besides that, there is also feature which allows you to post a message to either facebook or Twitter, telling your friends about the name of video that you are currently watching.

Overall, this app comes with really cool features, and there's so far no playback issues detected. Yet, the only drawback is where the app doesn't wait for the video to load for some time before it starts playing, instead, the playback starts immediately before it manage to load, hence, the playback is not smooth, and I'm forced to pause and wait for it to load. Other than that, everything else is brilliant.

Note: This app is available for iPad only.
