Inactivate Hidden Features of iOS 5...Does it work?

Almost everyone already know that there are two mysterious features that are not announced and activated by Apple during its iOS 5 update. They are:

1. Panorama Camera Mode

2. Android like Auto-Correct Keyboard Bar

Those two features are hidden due to certain unknown issues faced by the iOS development team. However, there are already lots of people who have spreading the workable non-jailbreak method using  iBackupBot online. So, how true is this? I've personally tested the method and found that it actually works. Yet, at the same time, I also managed to identify the possible reasons that made Apple resisted to unlock both features.

The first feature is the Panorama Camera Mode, which supposed to allow you shot Panoramic photos by using your Gyro-enabled i-devices. However, after trying it out on my iPad2, I found out that it didn't work as expected. The photo capturing process was quite smooth, where guidance was given within the panorama feature. BUT, the photo I captured turn out to be in plain green, without any image on it. I don't have an iPhone to test this feature, but it indeed fail to work in the iPad 2. Quite disappointed with this feature, I then proceed to the next feature.

The second feature is called the Auto-Correct Keyboard Bar. For those who owns an Android smartphone, you should be familiar with this feature, where there's an additional bar on top of your onscreen keyboard. When you type a word, the bar will offer some choices of possible words for you to choose from. Fortunately, this feature works smoothly, at least for now. BUT, unfortunately, there's no way to turn it off unless you re-edit your backup data and restore your iPad 2 using iBackupBot application. Besides that, it is actually quite annoying because if you don't want to select the suggested word from the auto-correct bar, you need to tap on the "Confirm" button for every word you type. This is very disturbing if you are typing a full length message or email.

Verdict: It is not advisable for users to activate both these hidden features as they are both buggy and difficult to disable without editing the backup system files. However, those who are still keen to try out those features, you can click on the following links for reliable reference:
