Rock Corner@The Curve, Mutiara Damansara is one my favourite music stores that I frequently visit for updates on musics, especially on Audiophile grade HDCDs which are quite difficult to find in other record outlets. The latest GOOD NEWS is they have finally replaced majority of their ancient + faulty headphones in the stores with brand new MONSTER BEAT SOLO HD!!!! Not just one, a number of them!!!
I don't know bout you guys, but for me, this is the best thing ever happen because I hate trying out new CDs with a lot noise distractions around me. The soft and comfortable ear cushion of the SOLO HD really do me a great favour. Don't be deceived by the size of its ear cushion, as it effectively shield your ears from outside noise, even without turning it on. With the crazy price tag of RM1160 (Rock Corner price), you can expect a clear vocal and crisp bass delivered right into you. This will really attracts more customers to try out the new albums displayed.
Besides the headphone as the main attraction, the interior of this Rock Corner outlet is creatively designed, with a retro style, 'disco ball' setting. The dim and mild yellowish lighting make the whole surrounding warm and cozy. There's also nice reading corner at the right corner of the store, which a classic wooden bench and chair are provided.
There are vast collections of CDs, Movie DVDs and TV series available for you to browse. All CDs are neatly organized, with big labels on top of each shelf. Though the store is a bit small, the neat organization of the store make it quite pleasant for customers to walk around.
The store assistants are not too pushy and forceful towards the customers. Customers will find it very relax to be able to browse through the CDs or listening to CDs without the interruption by any annoying shop assistants.
Overall, this Rock Corner is highly recommended and I would rate it 4/5 for its highly satisfactory services.
